The island where the member lives.

Hello everyone!!

We did a TON of contacting this week. It was pretty hot.

We made some potatoes this week and they were way tasty. And the best part is, the potatoes were grown in our garden and so was the rosemary. Sister Christenson is a very good gardener and it's great that I am her companion because I get the great food from it!!

We went out and visited a member on one of the islands and it was SO good. I took some pictures and I'll send those. I love visiting the members. They are all SO kind and the best things ever. They are doing their very best, and they are all so strong. It is amazing to me.

During church yesterday we had a GREAT Sunday School lesson about work. This poem was shared by Tagore (I dunno what the original language is but it was written in Croatian on the board so the English below is probably not exactly right):

Spavao sam i sanjao da je život radost.
Probudio sam se i shvatio da je život dužnost.
Djelovao sa i evo, gle!
Dužnost je radost.

In English:
I slept and dreamed that life is joy.
I woke and understood that life is duty.
I acted and behold!
Duty is joy.

I really liked that poem.

Another thing I really liked: We are all filled with this and that; we only have so much space inside us. When we repent, it gets rid of some of the "this and that" and makes more space for the Holy Ghost.
