Hello everyone!

Split and the bell tower

To add a little from last week, Split was SO fun. It was beautiful. I will send a BUNCH of pictures. We climbed up the bell tower (Sister Elmore does NOT like heights. It took some prayers and encouragement to get her to the top) and wandered around centar and got lost in the mountains a little (always a pleasant adventure) and got some ice cream to top it all off! It was a great day.

On our way to Split, we stopped and met with a member. He is AWESOME. He invited us in and we had lunch with him and a nice long chat. He has such a strong testimony and he is hilarious. He told us some stories about his life and I was amazed. Heavenly Father truly looks out for each and every single one of us. You could tell that he knows that God knows him perfectly, just like He knows each of us. He had a light in him that I personally think can never go out. It's part of who he is and it's deeply rooted in his soul. I hope to have that kind of a light in me, too.

This week we also went to a member's house to celebrate a birthday!! It was a lot of fun! We ate some TASTY cake and played some games with the kids and had some way good food! It was wonderful!

We had Family Home Evening with our branch and the Elders taught the lesson. It was a great lesson on Family History! Then we played a game and had treats. We played a game where you go around in a circle and say one word to make a sentence all together. We did it in Croatian and the members loved it! It was SO FUNNY. We were all laughing so hard by the end! It was a great evening!

We visited another member this week and she is the sweetest thing ever. I have decided that the members in this part of the world are some of the best examples of strength that I have ever seen. They are wonderful people and I feel truly blessed to be able to get to know them and have them as examples to me.
