Hey!!

The elders' area.

Not a whole lot happened this week. We had a LOT of contacting time. We don't currently have any investigators who we are teaching, so we have a lot of finding time. Sometimes we go tracting but usually people don't open their doors or they're not interested or the building is locked and we can't get in! But! I know we will find people to teach. We just need to be patient and keep talking to people!

The sisters' area.

Last Monday we got a text from a number that said to call a different number because he wanted to be a true son of Elohim. It was weird but we called anyway, and it was a man who went to church in Germany and Croatia and wants to be baptized!! But, there's a catch; he lives about two hours away, so he wouldn't be able to come to church. And we, sadly, can't go visit him. But! It goes to show that there are people here who are ready, and we just have to find them!!



We had our English Conversation Groups, per usual, and I love them. They are fun! It's cool to hear what people think about different things. They are set up so our focus is on principles that will better their lives and I like to hear what they have to say! It's amazing here, and I love it and the people.

We went to dinner at one of the embassy families' houses. They are so nice, and it was a lovely visit. The food was tasty and we had a lot of fun! Their kids are so cute and they are fantastic!

I gave a talk on Sunday and it went okay, I think. I prayed a lot a lot before and during. I talked a little louder than I normally do, and I was a little more calm than normal. It was still kinda all over the place but I am taking baby steps! Or trying to. Maybe by the time I give my homecoming talk I will have no fear! Hah. I guess I can hope, right?

Still SO HAPPY that Abby is awake and EMAILING me. She is so good.

Beck asked about their car, and here is her response:

P day today.

We have a car for the city so it is shared between us, the elders, and the senior couple. The senior couple is here on a humanitarian mission, and they drive ALL over the place. There is a limit for the miles but they have permission to exceed it. We can use the car if we need to and if we have permission. We haven't had to use the car for anything besides transfers and conferences. But the elders have gone to I think two lessons using the car because it's out of the city. We walk most of the time and tram when it's farther. There are lots of big communist housing buildings, and we usually go tracting there. There are some houses on the mountains that I want to tract sometime too, though. The car stays parked at the senior couple's apartment. But they are using it most of the time so it's not usually parked! (:
