Hello all,
To finish up from last week, Return and Report was great! That is where all the trainees and trainers get together and report on how things are going! It was SO GOOD to see my MTC group. I love them so much. It feels like ages since I saw them last! It was in Banja Luka and we drove up there and on our way back Sister Anjewierden ran over a cat. It was easily the funniest and saddest experience ever. Haha.
Also we had zone conference in Banja Luka a few days later. We had to take a bus for that trip though. We got up at 4 to get there on time. We were tired! Zone conference was great but I feel like we just had zone conference! They happen every month but dang does the time fly.
I have my visa application in now! I got my blood drawn and everything! (Dad, you wouldn't have liked that. But neither did the Elders and they managed to make it through. Elder Rasmussen is really afraid of needles. Just like you, Dad!) It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I have had my blood drawn before but that was in America and I didn't know how they would do it here. Good news! All is well.
The other day we ran into this crazy guy on the street. He was wearing a cowboy hat. He talked to us for so long in barely understandable English. He kissed both of my palms. But at different times. It was weird. He also told us that we need to be careful because it's not always safe here. (Mom, don't worry, I feel safe here.)
I made my first phone call this week!! I called a woman and didn't understand a lot of what she was saying but we set up a return appointment and it was okay!! Only kind of panicky. (We set it up for tonight actually but she just texted and said tonight doesn't work anymore. I am hoping that she lets us come back though! She is so nice and her kids are so cute!)
Volim vas puno!!

P.S. I don't think I took any pictures this week.. 1) sorry 2) I am ashamed and I don't know how I managed to do that! 3) I'll repent and do better next week! (:
P.P.S. Maybe I'll take some pictures today and send them later. (:
Also, we are watching general conference next weekend because 1) if we watch it live, it goes late into the night and 2) we will have it in the language and in English because our branch is mostly English because of the embassy families. And I think the wifi there wouldn't be able to handle streaming two general conferences at the same time.
We got a new embassy family!! Now our congregation has around 15 ish (and everyone but one member speaks English. It's hard to practice Bosnian because no one else does.)
Volim vas!!
S ljubavlju,
Sestra Locey
