Dear everybody,

This week has been great! We didn't do any moving for transfers so we just continued right along with our missionary lives. It has been great! It doesn't really seem like a new transfer. We have a new elder here but everything else is the same!

During district meeting this week I really liked what Elder Christensen talked about. He talked about how we need to clean out what's on the inside before we can clean the outside. I really liked that. I think that I forget that sometimes and I just try to fix my actions and the things on the outside when I need to be fixing the my thoughts and the things on the inside. He said something else that really stuck with me. He said something along the lines of we need to work from the inside out and not the outside in and that he's tried the second way many times and it just doesn't work. There was a little light bulb that went off I think. It just doesn't work to go from the outside in.

Okay, pretty cool story: We went out the other night looking for a specific guy that we had talked to before. He frequently rides his bike down the road by our place and sits on a bench for a little break. We walked down the road and couldn't find him. We wandered around a little more looking at other places we thought he might be and gave up. I asked S Ch where she wanted to go for the next little while before we had to head home. She decided on a direction and we started walking. We passed NO ONE for the first few minutes. She then said that maybe this wasn't the right direction to go.. I said something along the lines of there has to be a reason that we came down here. Well, not 30 seconds later, the guy we had been looking for comes down the street we were on. He was on the other side of the road so we couldn't go to him but he saw us and waved and we waved back! We turned around and kinda followed him. (I promise we aren't creepers.) We thought we had lost him. We walked down the first road once more and lo and behold guess who we found sitting on one of the benches. We had a great conversation with him. It was amazing! We even invited him to take the lessons! He said no but the story of finding him was well worth it. God is so good to us.

I'll send a bunch of pictures. We wandered down the coast today and man is it beautiful here. I love it!

Additional information we received in our personal email:
We, too, had a great thunderstorm this week! Last night actually! And we have had hot, HOT days. My oh my they are getting warm. But the thunderstorm was CRAZY. I thought the apartment building was going to fly away for a minute there. There are branches and stuff all over everywhere today!
Also, Mom you will be so proud! We go running every morning. And if we don't go running (because of the weather or something) I do a workout something from the binder. S Ch is very good for my health. I have even been eating cucumbers from the garden we have that she has grown completely by herself!
