Hey!!

I have some sad news. E Isom is leaving us early. He has to leave Bosnia. He is going to Croatia. Our whole district is very bummed. I know everything happens for a reason and mid-transfers are super common but I am still very bummed he is leaving. We will miss him lots.

Sorry I didn't send a weekly email last week, we had an exchange and I went to Banja Luka with Sister Yergensen!! It was SO fun and I loved it!! She is so great, and I love her dearly.

We had zone conference this week and it was so good and a lot of fun! It was in Sarajevo this time! We got everything all set up! And by we I mean my companion because I was in Banja Luka. (:

Last week was great too though!! We watched this Hope Works video: https://www.mormonchannel.org/watch/series/hope-works/spiritual-beings-and-the-human-experience-matt-townsend and it was the coolest thing ever. I loved it so much. I don't know how I hadn't run into this before!! I recommend watching it.

We were tracting last week and we weren't having a lot of people listen and it was a little rough but not too bad. But we went to the next big building and we tried the door and it was locked. So we started ringing the buzzy things to see if anyone would let us in. A lot of people didn't answer (which I get because that is what I do when someone rings our door; I don't know them and I am not expecting anyone, why would I let them in!) and the ones that did, didn't want to let us in. So we kept trying and eventually a man came out of the building. He was a cute old man and he came out and asked if we were going in. We said yes and grabbed the door. Before we made it all the way inside, he stops us and says, "Fresh! Fresh!" and reaches in his bag. We are very confused at this point. He pulls his hand out and it has eggs in it! We said that we were okay and didn't need any. Looking back, we should've taken them!! Free eggs!! It was hilarious. These people are so wonderful.

I have noticed little things around me all the time that remind me of my friends and family. I have come to the realization that even though my friends and family are physically far away, they are close to me and they are all around me! It is a lovely realization.

I hope you all have a wonderful week!!

Love,
Sestra Locey
