Hello everyone!

This week has been fantastic.

district conference--I love how some of the sisters are
pretty bundled up, and Jessa is sporting short sleeves
and bare legs!
Here is a quote for you: "People don't care how much you know until they know how much you care." I heard this and for some reason it really hit me. We do these little spiritual thoughts after English on Tuesdays and Thursdays and we watched a little video and this was a quote from it. I heard it and it really stuck with me. I thought about it a little more and I realized how true it is. How true it is for other people and for me. I don't really care what others have to say and what they know unless I care about them. And generally, I don't care THAT much about someone until I know them better (and know that they care). I've also realized that it is hard to continually care about others when they don't seem to care about you. But I have learned that in the end, it's always worth it to care about others. Regardless of whether or not they seem to care about you.

We had District Conference yesterday and it was SO SO GOOD. Wow. It was amazing. We had the members from all over Serbia come to Belgrade. It was so cool to see so many people there!! I loved it!! AND. Are you ready for a way cool miracle story? Backing up a few days, during district meeting the elders got a call from a man from Costa Rica. He said he is in Novi Sad and wanted to go to church on Sunday and that he was leaving on Monday. We got him in touch with the Novi Sad elders. They got things worked out so he could come to the conference in Belgrade with the other members who were coming. We had the first part of the conference and then a lunch. During the lunch I talked with him and I mentioned that my dad had served his mission in Panama and Costa Rica. He asked when and I said about 30 years ago. He asked what my dad's name is and I said it is Beck Locey. He then said, "NO WAY! I know him!!!!!!!" We both freaked out and were oh so excited and took pictures and it was wonderful.

God knows us and He blesses us and loves us and cares for us and has an oh so intricate plan for each and every single one of us. It truly amazes me. I love Him and I am so grateful to Him.

I hope you all have a great week!

Love,
Sister Locey

We went to a members house and their daughter
put this nice hat on me.

We went out to PanĨevo and it is adorable. I love that place.
